The Project Connect Health Fair aims to connect individuals experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness with health and wellness services. The event takes place on Monday, October 7, from 12 pm to 3 pm at the Parksville Community Centre at 223 Mills Street.

This year marks the 11th time the Oceanside Task Force on Homelessness (OTFH) will host this event, which helps many of our vulnerable community members with their basic needs.

Organizers are currently seeking businesses and service providers to contribute health and wellness giveaway items such as hygiene supplies, underwear, socks, or camping/survival supplies. OTFH is also seeking service providers in areas such as hearing and dental screening, foot and wound care, as well as providers for portrait photography services and haircuts on-site.

If you would like to provide your services, donate items, or volunteer for the Project Connect Health Fair, please reach out to: oceansidehomelessness@gmail.com
