Tutoring Programs
1. TUTORING FOR GRADES 6 TO 12
Falling behind in Math or English? We offer professional, one-on-one tutoring services to students who need extra support to achieve success in the classroom. The program is open to school-aged children currently enrolled in classes in School District 69. The cost is $5 per tutoring session.
Time: Mondays through Thursdays at the Parksville SOS Community Services Centre during the school year from 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm or 4:45 pm – 5:45 pm

2. HOMEWORK HUB FOR GRADES 8 TO 12
Homework Hub is a free group tutoring program for students in Grades 8 to 12 who could benefit from extra support in math, English, or science from SOS Tutors.
This new tutoring program is offered in partnership with School District 69’s Integrated Child & Youth (ICY) Team. It provides a welcoming, supportive space where students can build confidence, strengthen their skills, and stay on track with their schoolwork.
Time: Tuesdays from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Sessions take place at Winchelsea Learning Centre in Parksville.
