In honour of our 50th Anniversary, the City of Parksville put a beautiful floral display together on the corner of Pym Street and the Island Highway. At the end of August, we were lucky enough to have the assistance of the Parksville Fire Department to get some great aerial photos of the display! Fire department volunteers brought the ladder truck and Marketing Coordinator Lissa Alexander climbed up to get some shots of the 50th Anniversary Committee and SOS Board of Directors. The publisher of the Parksville Qualicum Beach News also came to get some photos of the action.
