This year marks SOS’s 55-years of caring in the Parksville Qualicum Beach region, and we are hosting a special Legacy Concert on June 28. The concert will honour our past and put a spotlight on our future.
We have partnered with Berwick Parksville Retirement Community to host the Legacy Concert in the Berwick Theatre featuring renowned Canadian actor, musician, activist, and Companion of the Order of Canada, Tom Jackson.
Tom Jackson’s performance will take place thanks to our presenting sponsor – Raymond James Qualicum Beach Branch. Jackson has been honoured with several achievements including the 2007 Juno and Gemini Humanitarian Awards and the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement, to name a few.
The evening will include songs and stories by Tom Jackson, a newly created short video, door prizes, give-aways, some special surprises, and a big announcement. Tickets are $55 and will go on sale May 10.
SOS has also partnered with Robert Held Art Glass to create a 55th Anniversary Legacy Globe. These one-of-a-kind, handmade, limited edition commemorative items will be on sale for $100.
