Make a Financial Donation

Every donation to SOS helps create a stronger, healthier community. Your support allows us to deliver programs and services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children, families, seniors, and individuals facing challenges. Together, we can ensure that people in our region have access to the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. Whether you make a one-time gift or become a regular donor, your contribution has a direct and lasting impact close to home.

There are financial benefits to giving, too. Eligible donations to registered Canadian charities like SOS qualify for charitable tax credits. For a BC resident, a $500 donation could generate approximately $176.52 in federal and provincial tax credits, reducing the net cost of the donation to about $323.48. This means your generosity goes further, supporting vital community programs while also providing valuable tax savings.

Make a Legacy Gift

A legacy gift is a meaningful way to ensure that the values and mission you care about continue to make an impact for generations to come. By including SOS in your estate plans, you can help strengthen our work well into the future while creating a lasting reflection of your commitment to building a stronger, more connected community.

No matter the size of your gift, your legacy can help sustain vital programs, services, and support for those who rely on SOS. Many supporters choose to leave a charitable gift through their will, trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy. A unique way to donate to SOS

Donate A Car Canada accepts vehicle donations for SOS and provides free towing in many areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, it will either be recycled or sold at auction depending on its condition, age and location.

Donate A Car Canada will look after everything to make it easy for you to donate, and SOS will send you a tax receipt after your car donation is complete!
