Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports the planning and facilitation of Early Years (TICTAC), Kids Movement (Grades 4–6), Family Night, and Youth programs (Grades 7–8 School Night Out, Grades 9–12 Youth Open Space).
- Prepares snacks and meals for program.
- Plans and facilitates arts, crafts, games, and group activities.
- Assists with setup and cleanup of program spaces and supports field trips as required.
- Builds positive relationships with participants and promotes engagement, healthy boundaries, and developmental growth.
- Ensures participant safety through following established procedures.
- Works collaboratively with the team to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one-year of experience in program delivery; a related degree or certificate in social services or related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of community-based programs and child and youth development.
- Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills with healthy boundaries.
Hours of Work: 31 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, split shifts with evenings and occasional weekends as required.
Compensation: $21- $23 per hour (+ Benefits after 6 months); dependent on qualifications and experience.
Start Date: As soon as possible
