SOS Programs & Services
The SOS Community Services Centre is located at 245 Hirst Avenue West in Parksville. The centre offers a wide range of programming for infants, children, youth, families, adults, and seniors.
SOS provides free programs, supports, and services to residents of District 69, including in-house programming, workshops, and special events. The organization also subsidizes select services, such as Meals on Wheels and Personal Growth programs.
In addition, SOS offers information and referrals to other community services.
SOS programs and services are made possible thanks to the support of more than 230 active volunteers and are funded through the sale of donated goods at the SOS Thrift Shop, as well as through cash donations, estate bequests, and fundraising activities.
